Bijelo Polje: Suspect Arrested for Stalking Former Partner

Police officers from the Bijelo Polje Department of Security, upon the order of the state prosecutor in the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje, detained N.D. (36) from Bijelo Polje on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of stalking against his former partner. The suspected criminal act involved attempting to establish communication with the victim against her will during July and August 2026, continuously following her, calling her by phone, photographing and filming her, being present at places where she stays, moving in her vicinity, following her by vehicle, entering her private vehicle without her knowledge and hiding on the back seat to observe her interactions, significantly endangering her life, health, body, and way of life. Police also conducted a search of N.D.'s apartment as part of preventive measures. He was brought before the state prosecutor within the legal deadline for further proceedings.
