Tivat: Police identified and detained suspect for drug sale

Officers of the Tivat Security Department identified a person suspected of street drug sales and, upon the order of the state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, detained S.M. (23) from Tivat today, due to suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession, and trafficking of narcotics. Police officers of the Tivat Security Department controlled S.M. and the vehicle he was driving, as well as a female citizen of the Republic of Serbia, who is suspected of purchasing cocaine from this person, in Porto Montenegro last night. The individuals were brought to the premises of the Tivat Security Department for information gathering and criminal processing. EUR 1,545, suspected to be proceeds from drug sales, as well as two mobile phones, were found.
