Representatives of the Cybersecurity Agency at an International Conference in Bucharest

The Bucharest Cybersecurity Conference 2026 was held, an international conference dedicated to current challenges and strengthening international cooperation. Before the conference’s official opening, representatives of Montenegro’s Cybersecurity Agency, Ana Minevski and Samir Orahovac, took part in the Bucharest Cyber Dialogue Meeting, where they exchanged experiences and discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation with representatives of Romanian institutions and other international partners. The meeting addressed the state of cybersecurity in Montenegro, the Agency’s activities aimed at strengthening national cyber resilience, and the challenges posed by the rapid development and application of artificial intelligence. Particular attention was paid to strengthening institutional and technical capacities, protecting critical infrastructure, and improving responses to increasingly complex cyber threats. Expert presentations and panel discussions examined the impact of artificial intelligence on cybersecurity, geopolitical challenges in cyberspace, critical infrastructure protection, the development of skilled personnel, and the importance of international cooperation in preventing and responding to cyber threats. In the coming period, cooperation is expected to intensify with Romania’s National Directorate for Cybersecurity (DNSC), as well as with ENISA, CISA, and other partner institutions, with the aim of further strengthening Montenegro’s national cyber resilience.
