Montenegro ready for the next phase of integration into the EU energy market
Montenegro is among the regional countries that are most decisively implementing reforms in the energy sector and is ready to take the next step towards full integration into the European Union's single energy market, said Minister of Energy and Mining Admir Šahmanović at the Informal Ministerial Council of the Energy Community held today in Pristina. Speaking about Montenegro's progress, Šahmanović recalled that the country has completed the process of aligning national legislation with the EU Electricity Market Integration Package and has already begun the verification process.
