NCB Interpol Podgorica: FAST team in Berane detained a Serbian citizen wanted by NCB Interpol Belgrade
Officers of NCB Interpol Podgorica – FAST team for international targeted searches, in cooperation with police officers from the Berane Police Department, after conducting targeted searches and precise information exchange, today, 04.07.2026, in Berane located and detained the individual: - N.L (38) from Kragujevac, a citizen of the Republic of Serbia, wanted by NCB Interpol Belgrade. NCB Interpol Belgrade issued an international arrest warrant for N.L. to secure his presence in a criminal proceeding before the competent court in the Republic of Serbia, due to reasonable suspicion that he committed criminal acts of endangering security, hooliganism, and illegal production, possession, carrying, and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials from the Criminal Code of the Republic of Serbia. He will, within the legally prescribed period, be brought before the Investigative Judge of the Higher Court in Bijelo Polje for extradition proceedings.
