U Elementary School 'Radojica Perović' began works on modernization of school sports fields

Our goal is to provide students with a safe and encouraging space for conducting teaching and extracurricular activities and engaging in sports," said Jakšić-Stojanović. Minister Jojić emphasized: "The Ministry of Sports and Youth invests in projects that will enable students to have quality conditions for physical education, sports, and recreation. "The benefits of this project go beyond improving conditions within the school itself, as investing in children, sports, and educational infrastructure contributes to the quality of life and development of the entire community," stated Prof. Director Laković mentioned that the newly renovated fields will additionally motivate students to be active, develop team spirit, and nurture the true values that sports carry." The project is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and NGO CAMS, covering five elementary schools in Podgorica and Nikšić. For the implementation of the first phase of the project, the Government of Montenegro allocated about half a million euros through the budgets of the two ministries, and the works will be completed at the beginning of the school year.
