Minister Ćulafić: Building a Responsible Attitude Towards the Environment Through Education

Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development, and Northern Development Damjan Ćulafić attended an event organized on the occasion of the new school year, as part of activities aimed at raising awareness about environmental protection and responsible attitude towards public interest, in front of the Elementary School "Savo Pejanović" in Podgorica. During the event, specially designed educational coloring books were distributed to future first-graders and preschoolers, helping children learn about nature conservation, responsible waste disposal, water and natural resource protection, as well as the importance of curiosity, asking questions, and distinguishing facts from assumptions in a fun and engaging way. Minister Ćulafić spoke with children and parents about how each of us, starting from the youngest, can contribute to environmental preservation and a more responsible relationship with the space we live in. "Today, we gathered here in front of OŠ 'Savo Pejanović' to mark the beginning of the new school year, but also to share knowledge about environmental protection and preservation," said Minister Ćulafić. "If we pass on the right messages, these children will grow into good people, responsible decision-makers, and those who will implement healthy and sustainable policies," he added. "Our main goal is to fulfill the mission given to us, using a very good and effective method, with joint efforts of the media and government institutions."
