Spajić and Merz to Open Berlin Process Leaders’ Summit
As part of the presidency programme, 26 events were held, 14 of them at ministerial level—the largest number of activities carried out under a single presidency in the history of the Berlin Process. The presidency programme included ministerial meetings on foreign and internal affairs, the economy, agriculture, environmental protection and other areas important for regional cooperation and the European integration of the Western Balkans. In addition to high-level political meetings, a series of accompanying events brought together representatives of the academic and scientific communities, civil society, the business sector, the media and young people, further strengthening the inclusiveness of the Berlin Process and creating space for broader social dialogue on the region’s future. The Summit is scheduled to begin at 10:20, and the opening remarks by Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz can be followed live on the YouTube channel of the Government of Montenegro. Accredited media representatives are reminded that accreditation collection is organised at the Maestral Hotel in Pržno at the following times: All accredited media representatives must do so no later than 7:30 on the 22nd. Please note that a limited number of parking spaces have been provided for media crews in front of the Maestral Hotel. Media representatives are therefore asked to arrive at the designated location as early as possible in order to park their vehicles in time and undergo the security check.
