Borovinić Bojović with Turkish delegation: Strengthening partnership for better and more accessible healthcare

The Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro for health and social welfare, Dr. Jelena Borovinić Bojović, met with a delegation from the Republic of Turkey and representatives of the International Agency for Health Services (USHAŞ), discussing improvements in cooperation in healthcare and social protection. The meeting covered knowledge exchange, sharing best practices, strengthening professional and institutional capacities, as well as education and professional development of healthcare workers. Collaboration with Turkey and experience exchange can significantly contribute to enhancing the competencies of healthcare staff and providing higher quality healthcare to our citizens, Borovinić Bojović stated. She emphasized that dedicated and skilled healthcare workers are the foundation of a reliable health system, and continuous investment in their knowledge and professional growth will be a key priority. Representatives of the Turkish delegation expressed readiness to further improve cooperation through sharing expertise and implementing concrete initiatives of mutual interest. Ayda Ünlü, General Director for EU and International Relations, Aziz Alper Biten, and General Director of USHAŞ Serdar Şenol, along with representatives from the Turkish Ministry of Health, USHAŞ, and the Turkish Embassy in Podgorica, participated in the meeting.
