Candidate Assessment Date for Public Competition No. 02-100/26-2737/3 for the Needs of the Ministry of Energy and Mining

The assessment of the competencies, knowledge and abilities of candidates who meet the requirements of the public competition for filling a position in the category of senior management is conducted in accordance with the conditions of the public competition and the Regulation on the Criteria and Detailed Procedure for Assessing Knowledge, Abilities, Competencies and Skills for Work in State Authorities ("Official Gazette of Montenegro", No. [incomplete]). The content of the general test is determined by randomly selecting 60 questions, which candidates answer by choosing one of several offered answers. Each correct answer is worth one point, so the maximum score on the general test for each individual competency is 15 points. A candidate who achieves at least eight points for each competency on the general test submits to the Commission a written paper containing: “An overview of priorities and proposals for improving work processes, or the situation in the field for which the candidate is being appointed.” The written paper assesses specific competencies based on the following criteria: ability to analyze the situation, setting priorities, innovation and initiative, and clarity and structure of the paper. The structured interview assesses general competencies—oral communication, commitment to learning and development, and cooperation—as well as managerial competencies: ability to organize work and manage human resources, and ability to exercise strategic management. Only candidates on the list of candidates who meet the requirements of the public competition may take part in the assessment procedure, namely: Candidates are reminded that, before the assessment begins, they must present their identity card or another identity document with a photograph to the Commission.
