Ibrahimović at Reception in Paris: Montenegro Remains a Reliable Partner and Strong Support for European Policy in the Western Balkans

On the occasion of celebrating the 20th anniversary of Montenegro's independence and ahead of Statehood Day, the Montenegrin Embassy in France organized a formal reception in Paris attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ervin Ibrahimović. In addition to Minister Ibrahimović, speeches were given by Montenegrin Ambassador to France Dubravka Lalović, Minister for Europe at the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs Benžamen Adad, and the Mayor of the 16th arrondissement of Paris Žeremi Redler, who emphasized the importance of friendly relations between Montenegro and France, along with congratulations on the anniversary of independence and Statehood Day. 'While proudly celebrating our past, our eyes remain firmly fixed on the European future – Montenegro as a responsible member of the European Union and NATO, bringing stability, cooperation, and prosperity to the entire Western Balkans,' stated the minister, highlighting the strong support from citizens and a clear political consensus on the country's European path. He emphasized that Montenegro proudly shares and upholds European values, demonstrating full alignment with the EU's common foreign and security policy, with a desire to be a positive example and a strong regional supporter. The minister expressed confidence that in the coming years, our country will become even more visible in France, especially through strengthening cultural ties, increasing the number of French visitors discovering Montenegrin beauty, and through active cooperation within the International Organization of La Francophonie.
