Operation 'Foreigner': Border Police took over 2,000 measures and actions against foreign nationals in Montenegro in July

Officers of the Border Police Sector, as part of the operational-tactical operation 'Foreigner', carried out 75 intensified control actions in July focused on the entry, movement, residence, and work of foreign nationals in Montenegro, during which a total of 2,001 measures and actions were taken against foreigners. These activities resulted in 185 decisions on return, 48 deportation orders, and 200 residence cancellations for up to 90 days, while 51 foreigners were forcibly removed from Montenegro. Additionally, the Ministry of Internal Affairs received 118 initiatives to terminate the temporary residence of foreigners, and 1,319 misdemeanour reports were filed due to identified violations, along with corresponding misdemeanour orders. During the reporting period, 11 decisions on milder measures were issued, 15 foreigners were placed in the Asylum Centre for foreigners, and 48 individuals were handed over to the competent authorities of neighboring countries under readmission agreements. Furthermore, six decisions were made to revoke or cancel D visas issued by Montenegrin authorities.
