Minister Joković opened the fourth 'Harvest Days' in Polica
Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management Vladimir Joković opened the fourth 'Harvest Days' in Polica in the municipality of Berane, a traditional event that gathers agricultural producers and hardworking hosts of this region. Joković, together with the President of the Municipality of Berane Đole Lutovac, visited exhibitor stands and spoke with farmers. The event was also attended by Damjan Ćulafić, Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development, and Northern Development, who is also from this region. Speaking about investments, the minister emphasized that they will continue, highlighting that the majority of the Ministry's investments are directed towards northern Montenegro. He specifically mentioned the construction of the coastal defense in Berane, a project implemented by the Ministry, and the construction of the Agricultural House, which will enable the unification of administrative services and provide farmers with easy and quick access. Joković also highlighted the importance of completing the water supply project in Polica, carried out by the Municipality of Berane in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development, and Northern Development, noting that its implementation will be of great significance for the residents of this area. Regarding the future of the north, the minister emphasized the importance of the highway, which will improve connectivity, facilitate product placement, and open new development opportunities for this region. 'Farmers are the most honest people – they create value through their work and hands.' He concluded by expressing his satisfaction at the honor of opening the fourth 'Harvest Days,' wishing that this event continues to live and each year gather more exhibitors and satisfied farmers.
