Candidate Verification Date for Public Competition 02-100/26-1452/3 of the Statistical Office
In 2026, the Statistical Office announced the need for the position of assistant director – Sector for macroeconomic statistics, national accounts, and prices. The competency, knowledge, and ability assessment of candidates meeting the public competition requirements for the senior management position is conducted in accordance with the competition conditions and the Regulation on criteria and procedures for testing knowledge, skills, and competencies for work in government bodies. Each correct answer on the test is awarded one point, with a maximum of 15 points per competency. Candidates who score at least eight points in each competency on the general test must submit a written work evaluating priorities and proposals for improving work processes or conditions in the relevant area. The written work is assessed based on specific competencies such as analysis ability, prioritization, innovation, initiative, clarity, and structure. During the structured interview, general competencies like oral communication, learning orientation, collaboration, and leadership skills are evaluated, along with management and strategic planning abilities. Only candidates from the candidate list who meet the competition requirements can participate in the verification process. Candidates must present a valid ID or other photo ID for identification before the assessment.
