Ukrainian citizen detained at Božaj for falsified driver's license
Officials from the Regional Border Police Center "Center" detained a Ukrainian citizen who attempted to cross the border with a falsified driver's license. Officers from the Podgorica Border Police Station checked O.D. (32), a Ukrainian national, at the Božaj border crossing, who was driving a passenger car of the brand "Audi A5" with Ukrainian license plates. A detailed border control, in cooperation with a FRONTEX officer, revealed that the driver possessed a forged driver's license. The incident was reported to the duty public prosecutor at the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, who ordered the detention of the Ukrainian citizen on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of document falsification.
