August 13, 2026 – Amendments to the UN Security Council Sanctions List
In accordance with Resolution 2610(2021), the Committee has enabled access to a summarized explanation of reasons for listing individuals on the sanctions list via the link https://main.un.org/securitycouncil/en/sanctions/1267/aq_sanctions_list/summaries on its website. The consolidated sanctions list is also updated after all changes related to ISIL and Al-Qaeda are made at https://main.un.org/securitycouncil/en/content/un-sc-consolidated-list. We urge obliged entities under the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing to regularly review these lists to ensure compliance with legal obligations.
