Published Regulation on Special Requirements for Approval of Flavors and Native Raw Materials Used or Intended for Use in and on Food
The regulation on special requirements for approval of flavors and native raw materials used or intended for use in and on food was published in the "Official Gazette of Montenegro," number 122/2026 from 17. The regulation stipulates the requirements for approval of flavors and native raw materials, conditions of their use, as well as the maximum permitted quantities of certain substances in food. This regulation transposes the requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1334/2008, with subsequent amendments and supplements, thereby continuing the alignment of Montenegrin legislation with the legal framework of the European Union in the field of food safety.
