In Serbia, Montenegrin citizen arrested on international warrant by NCB Interpol Podgorica
Police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia yesterday detained Montenegrin citizen A.K. (32), for whom NCB Interpol Podgorica issued an international warrant. He was detained while attempting to exit the Republic of Serbia at the Godovo border crossing. An international warrant has been issued for this person to serve an eight-month prison sentence, based on a verdict by the Basic Court in Berane for the criminal offense of hooliganism. Further communication between the judicial authorities of Montenegro and Serbia will follow to facilitate the extradition of this individual.
