Real Estate Administration Enables Notaries to Submit Requests Electronically – An Important Step in Digitalizing Services

The Real Estate Administration, in cooperation with the Montenegro Notary Chamber and the Ministry of Justice, has established a system for electronic submission of requests by notaries. Considering that, during the previous period, as part of the digital transformation of public administration, the Real Estate Administration implemented a new version of the eCadastre application, which provides citizens and other entities with easy and secure access to cadastral data, and that notaries are enabled to download electronically signed property lists, the next step is the introduction of electronic request submission for notaries. Notaries were given detailed instructions on how to use the system, from accessing the application and filling out requests, to attaching necessary documentation and electronically submitting cases to the relevant branch of the Real Estate Administration. This reduces the need to visit counters, facilitates document submission, improves case tracking, and decreases administrative burdens for both users and employees in branch offices. The next phase will involve expanding system usage to other users of the Real Estate Administration services, primarily private geodetic firms and other interested entities, in accordance with current regulations. The Real Estate Administration will continue collaborating with the Montenegro Notary Chamber, the Ministry of Justice, and other relevant partners to further improve digital services and create conditions for a larger number of notaries, private geodetic organizations, and other users to access them in a simple, fast, secure, and efficient manner.
