European Commission is Looking for Experts to Evaluate Funding Applications
If you have in-depth knowledge of a specific domain you can consider to work as an expert for the European Commission (EC). To have a fair and balanced assessment process it is important to have a diverse pool of experts representing different perspectives, geographies and backgrounds. The areas of expertise that are needed coincide with the themes of the the EU funding programmes. In it Isabel Vergara Ogando, Deputy Head of Unit - Common Service for Business Processes, EC, says that it has been a long time since they organized an event to invite people to as an expert. She says that they need people with an expertise "in order to assist us with the evaluation of proposals and with the monitoring of projects."
