NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte visited the training and exercise site together with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Minister of Defense Pål Jonson, and Minister for Civil Defense Carl-Oskar Bohlin. The visit took place in connection with NATO Foreign Ministers' meeting in Sweden on May 21-22, held in Helsingborg. At Revinge, the authority's training and exercise area, a concrete picture was given of how actors within total defense are trained, exercise, and collaborate in practice. Here in Revinge, we demonstrate how we as a leading authority in civil defense train and exercise to strengthen Sweden's preparedness, says Mikael Frisell, Director General. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte's visit to the training and exercise site, along with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Minister of Defense Pål Jonson, and Minister for Civil Defense Carl-Oskar Bohlin, underscores the importance of a strong civil defense within NATO and the need for all allies to develop their collective resilience.
