Police Operation: Macedonian Arrested in Nikšić Suspected of Attempted Murder of Member of Opposing OKG; Nikšićanin Arrested in Budva Suspected of Providing Assistance to the Suspect
Officials of the Regional Security Center 'Zapad', with the assistance of SBPK, carried out a targeted, precise, and coordinated operation today, during which A.T. (19), a citizen of North Macedonia and member of an organized criminal group, was detained in accordance with an international warrant issued by NCB Interpol Podgorica. He is suspected of attempted murder of a member of an opposing criminal group, (34) from Nikšić, and of aiding the perpetrator after the crime by providing assistance and creating conditions that allowed A.T. (56), a member of the opposing criminal group, to shoot two projectiles at him with a firearm. During planning and preparatory activities aimed at infiltration and conducting criminal activities, M.Lj. used a forged ID card in the name of J.G., a citizen of Serbia, to stay at a hotel as a guest. Police officers from the Police Directorate continue intensive operational and intelligence activities focused on locating internationally wanted persons involved in serious crimes and organized crime.
