27th Session of the Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the Digitalisation Strategy for Education
At the 27th session of the Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the Digitalisation Strategy for the Education System 2022–2027, the Action Plan for improving the use of EdTech laboratories was discussed, along with the results of a survey on their use conducted in February 2026. Particular attention was paid to increasing the number of students involved in activities, further integrating EdTech laboratories into teaching, supporting schools and teachers, and continuously monitoring their use. The participants also discussed organising activities through which students would use available digital resources to develop solutions to specific problems they identify in their schools. The new system enables teachers to view and apply for available programmes, record professional development, and generate a biography, while further improvements and integration with the process of issuing and renewing licences are planned for the coming period. It was agreed that members would update data on completed activities and initiate activities that have not yet begun, so that the planned obligations could be fulfilled by the end of the year. The session also announced that the delivery of computer equipment procured through a project implemented with the support of the European Investment Bank (EIB) had been completed, covering approximately 260 locations, and that on-site verification of the delivered equipment was under way.
