With EU support, Adventure Park opened in Plužine and a joint Tourism Development Strategy presented

Today in Plužine, the Adventure Park was officially opened, and the Integrated Strategy for the sustainable tourism destination Foča – Plužine 2026–2030 was presented, as part of the cross-border project "Tourism, Adrenaline, and Rafting Adventure v.2.0 – T.A.R.A v.2.0" funded by the European Union. The event confirmed the shared commitment of partners from Plužine and Foča to connect tourism offerings, improve infrastructure and services, and jointly develop a destination based on natural potentials and active tourism. The event also featured the presentation of the Integrated Strategy for the development of the sustainable tourist destination Foča – Plužine 2026–2030, which provides a common framework for tourism development in the two communities. The Strategy's vision is for Foča and Plužine to become internationally recognized integrated cross-border destinations for active and sustainable tourism. Four strategic priorities are defined: developing an integrated and recognizable cross-border destination; enhancing tourism infrastructure, accessibility, and service quality; developing and connecting the tourism offerings of both municipalities; and strengthening visitor safety and risk management systems. The European Union is committed to supporting the Western Balkans in valorizing their cultural heritage and natural potentials, with cross-border cooperation playing a key role by enabling the connection and development of joint tourism products. The Adventure Park was built within the T.A.R.A v.2.0 project, implemented by the Municipality of Plužine, the City of Foča, Piva Nature Park, and the Tourist Organization of Foča, with financial support from the European Union through the IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Program Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021–2027.
