Rožaj resident arrested on suspicion of intentionally causing a traffic accident; driving under the influence of cocaine

Officials of the Rožaje Department of Security last night, upon the order of the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Rožaje, detained the driver from Rožaje on suspicion that, after a verbal conflict in traffic, he deliberately caused a traffic accident in which he and two other persons were injured. Around 10:45 AM, a report was received that a traffic accident involving two vehicles occurred on the Rožaje–Berane main road, in the village of Đuranovića Luke, Rožaje municipality, where a VW Golf VI driven by N. was involved. Based on the investigation conducted at the scene, as well as additional police checks and other criminal procedures, police officers suspected that the traffic accident was deliberately caused by N. M., who, after catching up with his vehicle in Đuranovića Luke, intentionally hit the rear of the vehicle driven by R. with the front of his vehicle. A drug test performed at the Clinical Hospital Center in Berane confirmed that N. was under the influence of drugs. The acting prosecutor, after collecting information and conducting criminal procedures, indicated that N.'s actions are under investigation.
