Azemović visits Gusinje Municipality, signs Agreement on organizing Diaspora Days event
Minister of Diaspora Mirsad Azemović paid a working visit to Gusinje Municipality, where he signed an Agreement with Mayor Sanela Balić on organizing the Diaspora Days event. Besides Gusinje, this year's Diaspora Days will be organized in two other municipalities. During the event, a panel discussion will be held in Gusinje, providing participants the opportunity to discuss current topics important to our people in the diaspora. The panel will include government and local officials, as well as the President of the Council for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Emigrants, along with representatives of our diaspora. Minister Azemović emphasized that Gusinje is one of the best examples of strong ties between the diaspora and the homeland, highlighting that such communities demonstrate how important the diaspora can be as a partner in local development. He stated that local self-government will continue to support initiatives that strengthen bonds with the homeland and promote Gusinje's developmental potentials.
