Krapović and Vuksanović Hosted Reception for Montenegrin Army Officers Who Successfully Completed Advanced Training at Command-Staff and Operational-Strategic Levels

Minister of Defense Dragan Krapović and Chief of the General Staff of the Montenegrin Army Brigadier General Miodrag Vuksanović hosted a reception for Montenegrin Army officers who successfully completed advanced training at the command-staff and operational-strategic levels abroad, gaining new knowledge and competencies for performing the most complex command and leadership duties within the defense system. He emphasized pride in the fact that our officers have the opportunity to further their education at prestigious military educational institutions of allied countries such as the USA, the United Kingdom, Greece, Estonia, and Croatia, acquiring top-tier expertise, developing professional connections, exchanging experiences with foreign colleagues, and strengthening the interoperability of the Montenegrin Army with allied armed forces. "This is an investment in the future of our defense system and a confirmation that we recognize education as one of the key pillars of developing a modern, professional, and credible army," said Krapović. Chief of the General Staff Vuksanović highlighted that completing training at the command-staff and operational-strategic levels marks an important milestone in each officer's professional development. These training programs represent the highest forms of professional military education, aimed at preparing officers for the most complex command, staff, and leadership roles within the defense system. They enhance officers' knowledge in planning and conducting operations, strategic thinking, resource management, and decision-making in a complex security environment, thereby further strengthening the capabilities of the Montenegrin Army and its interoperability with allied armed forces.
