Critical Vulnerability in Check Point Cybersecurity Products
Check Point has issued warnings about two critical vulnerabilities CVE-2026-85102 and CVE-2026-85103 (both with CVSS score 9.8), affecting Security Gateway, Security Management Server, and Spark Firewall products. The vulnerabilities allow an attacker without a valid certificate to access Gateway or Management systems and execute arbitrary code without authorization checks. Immediate installation of security updates is required, ensuring the system is updated to at least version R82.20. If using Check Point LivePatch automatic update service, verify that updates have been successfully installed and that vulnerable products are updated to at least version R82.20. Vulnerable versions of Security Gateway, Security Management Server, and Spark Firewall have been fixed in version R82.20, with patches available in updates.
