Ibrahimović and Felten: Germany remains a strong partner of Montenegro on the European path
During his farewell visit, the ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Montenegro, Peter Felten, was thanked for his exceptional contribution to improving the relations between the two friendly countries during his four-year mandate. Ibrahimović assessed that Ambassador Felten, through his dedicated engagement, made a strong contribution to further strengthening overall bilateral cooperation, leaving a significant mark on the development of the partnership between Montenegro and Germany in numerous areas of mutual interest. He also thanked for Germany's continuous support through the Western Balkans Fund, which represents an important instrument of regional cooperation and connectivity, as well as for the strong partnership between the two countries within international and multilateral organizations. Ambassador Felten expressed satisfaction that he spent the past four years in Montenegro, emphasizing that his mandate was fulfilling both because of the people and hospitality he experienced, as well as due to substantive and successful work. He highlighted that the shared commitment to the same values and goals, which the institutions of Montenegro and the Federal Republic of Germany share, significantly contributed to successful cooperation and facilitated the realization of numerous joint initiatives. He added that the active work of the German Federal Republic's Embassy and the projects implemented in Montenegro by GIZ represented an important part of that support, and that it was a privilege for him to actively contribute to the development of relations between the two countries over the past four years.
