During the operation, they found 65 kilograms of marijuana with a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who was driving a cargo vehicle with a trailer. The vehicle was pulled aside for a detailed border check, and upon executing a court-issued search of the trailer's cargo space, police discovered 62 PVC packages of marijuana weighing approximately 65 kilograms. The citizen was detained on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession, and distribution of narcotics. He will be referred to the prosecutor's office with a criminal report for further proceedings. Border police officers will continue intensified border and border area surveillance and resolute fight against drug smuggling and other forms of cross-border crime to protect the safety of citizens and Montenegro's borders.
