First Session of the National Council for Education Held in Its Fifth Term

Today, the first session of the National Council for Education in its fifth term was held, which will play an important role over the next four years in improving the quality and implementing reform processes in the field of education. Minister of Education, Science, and Innovation, Dr. Anđela Jakšić-Stojanović, welcomed the newly appointed members and congratulated them on their appointment, emphasizing the importance of their engagement in the upcoming period, especially considering the reform of the education system. At the first session, the Rules of Procedure of the National Council for Education were discussed and adopted. Additionally, a Decision was made to appoint permanent working bodies of the National Council for Education, including the Committee for General Education, the Committee for Secondary Education, and the Committee for Adult Education. The National Council for Education will continue its work on issues of importance for improving the quality of education and supporting reform processes in Montenegro within its competencies.
