Officers of the Podgorica Security Department solved a case involving an attack on a minor and, in coordination and cooperation with, and on the orders of, the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, arrested two minor suspects on suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of violent behavior against the injured minor. At around 8:30 p.m., they were informed by the Emergency Medical Service that a minor had been brought in accompanied by a parent due to injuries inflicted by peers, after which the minor was referred to a medical facility for treatment. Police officers immediately responded to the report and took measures to establish all the facts and fully clarify the incident. Police and prosecutorial measures led to the identification of two minors, who gave statements at police premises regarding the incident in accordance with legal procedures. At around 5:00 p.m., in front of a fast-food kiosk in Podgorica, following a brief verbal argument, they physically attacked the injured minor, who sustained minor bodily injuries. The competent state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica was informed of all the above and determined that the actions of the two minors contained the essential elements of the criminal offense of violent behavior, ordering that they be arrested.
