Now companies across the EU must report digital vulnerabilities in products

In September this year, companies in the EU will need to report digital vulnerabilities and serious IT security incidents in products with digital elements. To strengthen cybersecurity across the EU, companies that produce products with digital elements must now report digital vulnerabilities. The purpose of the regulation is to protect consumers and businesses that purchase products with digital elements in the EU. The cyber resilience regulation is part of the EU's effort to enhance cybersecurity and resilience across member states. Manufacturers must notify the national CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) and ENISA (European Network and Information Security Agency) through a common platform.
