Budva: Podgorica man arrested suspected of inflicting serious bodily injury on fellow citizen

Officials of the Budva Department of Security took measures and actions following a report from a person who was attacked at a hospitality establishment in Budva. They quickly clarified the incident and, upon the order of the public prosecutor, detained the suspect from Podgorica. The Budva police were informed yesterday by the injured party, a 31-year-old man from Podgorica, that on August 22, 2026, around 11:30 PM, while at a hospitality venue in Rafailovići, Budva municipality, he was physically assaulted. According to his report, he was attacked by a male individual who struck him in the head area, resulting in serious bodily injuries confirmed by a specialist doctor’s report. After a series of measures and actions, the police quickly identified the suspect, M.Š. Following the collection of necessary information and under the order of the public prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor, M.Š.
