10 Years of GDPR. ÚOOÚ Experts Published Material in Collaboration with the Data Protection Society

On the occasion of 10 years since the adoption of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection Society published an informational brochure. Ten years after the regulation came into force, GDPR has become a fundamental part of the public's legal awareness, facing new challenges, especially the dynamic development of AI. This is also evidenced by the experience of ÚOOÚ staff, who recorded the highest number of reports and complaints in 2025 since GDPR's effective date. The joint material by the Data Protection Society and ÚOOÚ dedicated to 10 years of GDPR can be found here. The Data Protection Society is a professional association dealing with the processing and protection of personal data in private business, self-government, and public administration. It also organizes data protection officers appointed to fulfill obligations under Article 37 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
