Enhanced Controls at Velika Beach: Three Persons Detained, Marijuana and Cocaine Found, Two Foreign Nationals Ordered to Deportation

Officers of the Regional Border Police Center 'Jug', the Border Police Station Ulcinj, and the Mobile Border Police Unit, operating under the 'Foreigner' operational action, conducted intensified checks on foreign nationals at Velika Beach in Ulcinj. During the operation, upon order from the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, one Montenegrin citizen and two Serbian nationals were detained, with marijuana and cocaine found in their possession. A Montenegrin woman was found with 16 packages containing marijuana totaling over 40 grams, and seven packages of cocaine totaling about four grams. She was detained and criminal charges were filed against her for suspected illegal production, possession, and trafficking of narcotics. The two Serbian nationals from Belgrade were also detained after marijuana packages were found in their possession, and they were issued misdemeanor reports for violations of Article 52 of the Law on Prevention of Drug Abuse. After the completion of misdemeanor proceedings before the Ulcinj Misdemeanor Court, border police officers in Ulcinj handed over L.B.
