Montenegrin Army secures cleaner water supply for Kotor municipality
The Support Battalion of the Montenegrin Army has deployed a tanker to supply residents with drinking water in the Kotor municipality at the request of state and local authorities. The Montenegrin Army is providing support to citizens due to disruptions in public water supply caused by contamination of the Orahovac and Škurda sources, which has resulted in some parts of Kotor lacking potable water. The support battalion's tanker will be deployed to locations designated by competent municipal authorities, according to the needs of the population and the water distribution plan. This way, the Montenegrin Army contributes to alleviating the consequences of the situation and ensuring regular water supply to citizens. The Army remains ready, within its competencies and available capacities, to support civil institutions and citizens in case of unforeseen circumstances and situations of importance for the protection and safety of the population.
