Visit to Producers in Tuzima and Zeta

As part of the bilateral cooperation between Montenegro and Italy on the implementation of a scientific research project, independent advisor Dr. Dragana Radunović (Directorate for Advisory Services), along with Prof. Dr. Jelena Zindović (Faculty of Biotechnology), Associate Professor Dr. Ana Velimirović (Faculty of Biotechnology), and guest researchers from Italy – Anna Maria Vaira and Francesco Nugnes – visited several producers in the Zeta-Malesia plain and their production facilities. During meetings with farmers, issues related to production, symptoms of plant diseases, methods of pest control, and possibilities for successful protection were discussed. Plant samples were collected for laboratory analysis. The visit to the local production was a good opportunity to transfer scientific knowledge to the field, and the meeting with our successful farmers was another example of good practice.
