Published Regulation on Food That Can Be Treated with Ionizing Radiation

The regulation on the List of approved food and food ingredients that can be treated with ionizing radiation in approved countries has been published in the 'Official Gazette of Montenegro', number 122/2026 from 17. The regulation stipulates the list of approved food and food ingredients that can be treated with ionizing radiation in approved countries. This regulation transposes into Montenegrin legislation the 2009/C 283/02 List of approved food and food ingredients that can be treated with ionizing radiation in EU member states. With the adoption of this regulation, the national legislation continues to align with the legal acquis of the European Union in the field of food safety.
