Dukaj - Gogu: Montenegro and Albania Determined on European Path and Strengthening the Rule of Law

The Minister of Public Administration, Mr. Marash Dukaj, met with the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Albania, Tonin Gogu. During a constructive discussion, the ministers confirmed a strong commitment of both countries to the common European goal, emphasizing that full membership in the European Union is a key priority and a shared future for Montenegro and Albania. In this context, significant progress was noted in implementing key reform processes that directly contribute to the stability and development of the entire region. The focus of the meeting was on defining concrete steps for further improving bilateral cooperation. Special attention was given to exchanging best practices and experiences in strengthening the rule of law, modernizing the public sector, and intensifying coordination within the European integration process. It was jointly concluded that Montenegro and Albania will continue to work diligently to deepen their partnership, which will serve as a strong incentive for overall development, stability, and the European perspective of the Western Balkans.
