Statement from the 136th session of the Government of Montenegro

The session, chaired by Prime Minister Mr. Milojko Spajić, approved the Draft Law on ratification of the Protocol amending the Agreement between the parties of the Convention on Police Cooperation in Southeast Europe regarding automated exchange of DNA data, fingerprint data, and vehicle registration data. A decision was made to amend and supplement the Decision on the introduction of international restrictive measures established by the European Union Council decisions and regulations concerning actions that undermine or threaten Ukraine's territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence. These amendments relate to the normative part concerning conditions for exemption from freezing measures for certain designated persons, as well as annexes that are an integral part of the decision and regulations, containing data on individuals and entities subject to restrictive measures. The goal of the Strategy is to create conditions for the development of sustainable, competitive, and inclusive labor markets, which will enable increased employment, improved quality of jobs, strengthened social inclusion, and reduced unemployment, especially among vulnerable groups. It is also noted that the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation, in cooperation with UNICEF and the EU Delegation in Montenegro, is implementing activities under the initiative 'Quality Education for All Children in Montenegro,' aimed at establishing interoperability of information systems between competent institutions to improve data exchange relevant for implementing the European Child Guarantee and Youth Guarantee. The sale of timber in standing volume (sanitary felling) will be conducted through public bidding/auction or public call, with an expected minimum revenue of 141,172.00 euros from the sale of timber based on the proposed starting prices.
