Police Administration Action: Cancellation of Stay for Russian Federation Citizens, Confiscation of Sophisticated Equipment and Computer Devices

Officials from the Border Police Sector, during intensified border control, identified, located, and checked three Russian Federation citizens, A.S. (38), among whom a large quantity of sophisticated digital equipment and devices was found during inspection. They were issued decisions to cancel their stay in Montenegro. During the control, a significant amount of expensive digital and computer equipment was found, for which the individuals did not possess documentation nor could they provide a clear explanation of its origin and purpose. Considering the circumstances indicating suspicion regarding the purpose and legality of their stay and use of the equipment, foreigner inspectors, in accordance with the law, issued decisions to cancel the stay for the Russian citizens. The Police Administration, in cooperation with the National Security Agency, is undertaking further coordinated measures and actions to determine all circumstances related to the purpose of their stay, transfer, and intended use of the found equipment, as well as the reasons for its use on Montenegrin territory. The Police Administration and the National Security Agency continue coordinated activities aimed at protecting internal security, maintaining a stable security environment, and timely implementing legally prescribed measures.
