Public Call for Consultation with Interested Public for the Preparation of the Draft Strategy for Informing the Public about Montenegro's Accession to the European Union 2027-2028
In accordance with Article 12 of the Regulation on the Selection of Non-Governmental Organization Representatives in the Working Bodies of the State Administration and Conducting Public Debate in the Preparation of Laws and Strategies (Official Gazette of Montenegro, No. 41/18), the Ministry of European Affairs invites bodies, organizations, associations, and individuals (hereinafter: interested public) to participate in the initial phase of preparing the Draft Strategy for informing the public about Montenegro's accession to the European Union in 2027-2028 and to submit their initiatives, proposals, suggestions, and comments electronically (email: nada.vojvodic@mep.gov.me) and in written form (address: Bulevar Ivana Crnojevića 167, 81000, Podgorica). The guidelines for continuing effective communication of the European integration process will be defined, ensuring continuous and quality informing of the public and maintaining high citizen support for Montenegro's EU membership. The main goal of the Strategy is to improve citizens' awareness of the European integration process and ensure continued stable support for Montenegro's EU accession through the establishment of new tools and thematic activities. The Ministry of European Affairs will promptly record all received initiatives, proposals, suggestions, and comments and, after consulting with participants, prepare a report that includes an overview of participants and received inputs, which will be published on the official website https://www.gov.me/mep and the e-Government portal https://euprava.gov.me, and sent to participants within seven days after the deadline of 20 days. All received initiatives, proposals, suggestions, and comments will be considered and taken into account in the preparation of the Draft Strategy for informing the public about Montenegro's accession to the European Union.
