Police Department Receives Letter of Thanks from Principal of Pavle Rovinski Elementary School: Mojkovac Police Officers Were There for Children When They Needed It Most

The police department today received a letter of thanks from the principal of Pavle Rovinski Elementary School in Podgorica, Ms. Nataša Popović, in which she expressed heartfelt gratitude for the help, care, and humanity shown by the commander and police officers of the Mojkovac Police Department who assisted children after a traffic accident on September 19, 2026. With Ms. Popović's permission, we are sharing her full letter: On behalf of our school, our students, staff, and personally, I want to extend our deepest, sincere, and immense gratitude to the Police Department, especially to the members of the Mojkovac Police Department, who demonstrated exceptional professionalism, dedication, and above all, great humanity during an extremely difficult and stressful moment. After an accident near Mojkovac caused by a landslide that damaged a bus carrying our students, our colleague, and a tour guide, we found ourselves in an extremely challenging and upsetting situation. We especially thank Commander Dejan Rakočević, Assistant Commander Radul Šćekić, and police officers Drago Bošković, Predrag Bošković, Dalibor Vuković, and Branko Rutović. Their readiness to immediately assist and selflessly dedicate themselves to our students and staff during moments of fear and uncertainty means much more than professional duty to us.
