25th Session of the Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the Digitalisation Strategy for Education
At the 25th session of the Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the Strategy for the Digitalisation of the Education System 2022–2027, the results of the first digital external assessment of knowledge at the end of the third cycle of primary education were presented, along with opportunities for regional cooperation in the digitalisation of education. Particular attention was paid to improving the security and transparency of the examination process by creating personalised tests for each student and introducing digital grading. Further improvements to the system were announced, as well as the expansion of digitalisation to the external assessment of knowledge at the end of secondary education, with pilot testing planned for January next year. The Commission members were also presented with the activities of the Education Reform Initiative of South Eastern Europe (ERI SEE), which supports education reforms and regional cooperation. Discussions focused on opportunities for joint regional initiatives, particularly the development of virtual reality (VR)-based educational content and the organisation of a regional conference on digital education as a platform for exchanging experiences and presenting innovative solutions. The Commission will continue to monitor activities aimed at advancing the digitalisation of educational processes, strengthening the security and transparency of knowledge assessment, and promoting regional cooperation in digital education.
