International Competition for Urban-Architectural Concept Design of Part of the Coastal Zone in Budva

The Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism, and Property announced an International Competition for the urban-architectural conceptual design of part of the coastal zone in Budva, within the scope of the Special Purpose Spatial Plan for the coastal area of Montenegro. The subject of the Competition is the development of an urban-architectural conceptual solution for part of the coastal zone in Budva, within the scope of the Special Purpose Spatial Plan for the coastal area of Montenegro. The goal of the Competition is to obtain a high-quality urban-architectural solution that will transform the coastal zone into a unique, representative, and functionally integrated public space. The solution should synergistically connect the urban waterfront of the city with tourist capacities, the promenade, the expanded sandy beach, and the Budva Port (including the area and accompanying facilities), while preserving open views to the sea and the Old Town. The organizer is issuing and conducting the Competition in Montenegrin and English. Applications are to be submitted by 12:00 PM (local time in Montenegro) on the specified date via email to obalnipojas@mdup.gov.me. The results of the Competition will be published on the websites www.gov.me and www.arhitecturalcompetitions.me. All interested participants can submit questions regarding the Competition until the specified date, after which all received questions and answers will be compiled and published on the Ministry's website (www.gov.me) and on www.arhitecturalcompetitions.me, no later than the specified deadline.
