Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management Vladimir Joković visited Petnjica today, where he toured host Mela Hajdarpasić at the Pločnik mountain hut and discussed with farmers about life and work on mountain huts, improving water supply and infrastructure, as well as further development of agriculture in this region. Minister Joković thanked the host for the exceptional reception, emphasizing that such hosts and hardworking people should be particularly promoted, as they are the best example that excellent results can be achieved even under challenging conditions. Along with the minister, there were State Secretary Krsto Rađenović, Ministry Secretary Igor Nišavić, General Director of the Directorate for Agriculture Miroslav Cimbaljević, and acting director. Such field discussions are the best way to hear their suggestions, experiences, and needs, and to jointly seek the best solutions. Everything agreed upon with the President of the Petnjica Municipality has been fulfilled in the shortest possible time, and we will continue to invest in this region, in mountain huts, infrastructure, and creating better conditions for our hosts,” said Joković. The visit to Petnjica was an opportunity for open dialogue with citizens and farmers, exchanging opinions, and exploring possibilities for further improving living and working conditions.
