Workshop 'National Policy Framework for Alternative Fuel Infrastructure'
The workshop 'National Policy Framework for Alternative Fuel Infrastructure', organized by the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Energy and Mining, will be held on the 16th. Opening remarks will be given by Božidar Savović, State Secretary at the Ministry of Transport, Matija Medojević, State Secretary at the Ministry of Energy and Mining, and Kai Nagel, Program Manager at the European Union Delegation in Montenegro. Mette Hoé, EU transportation and urban development strategy expert and author of the study, will present 'Montenegro's Transition to Alternative Fuel Infrastructure' and moderate the workshop. The National Policy Framework for Alternative Fuel Infrastructure is a strategic/planning document defining goals, measures, and development dynamics for alternative fuel infrastructure, representing an important step towards achieving energy transition goals and sustainable mobility development. The event aims to present the National Policy Framework to key stakeholders and exchange views on future goals, strategic directions, and practical steps for developing alternative fuel infrastructure in Montenegro. Through three thematic sessions, participants will discuss key aspects of infrastructure development for alternative fuels, with a focus on cooperation between the transport and energy sectors, current market status and perspectives, and alignment with European regulatory frameworks. The workshop conclusions will contribute to further preparation of the National Policy Framework, ensuring future solutions align with national priorities, market needs, and European standards in transport and energy sectors.
