Police Action in the North: Six Weapons Seized, 584 Ammunition Pieces, Pyrotechnic Devices, Weapon Parts

Police officers from the Plav Security Department, continuing activities aimed at combating abuse and illegal possession of weapons, conducted searches at two locations in Plav, involving two individuals. During the searches, they found and seized six weapons, 584 rounds of ammunition, 11 firearm magazines, 57 pyrotechnic devices, and a bayonet. Additionally, three firearms, 540 rounds of various ammunition, seven magazines, and 57 pyrotechnic devices were confiscated. The searches uncovered a Brno rifle with an optical sight, a metal sight, and three magazines in illegal possession; a pistol with two magazines in illegal possession; 482 rounds of ammunition in illegal possession; a CZ Arms M88 pistol with two magazines and a firearm license; 58 pistol rounds; a bayonet; and 57 pyrotechnic devices. Officers also searched the home and other premises used by Lj.T., where they found and seized three firearms, 44 rounds of ammunition, and four magazines. The items included a CZ Compact G pistol with three magazines and 35 rounds of appropriate ammunition in illegal possession; a CZ M57 pistol with a magazine and nine rounds of appropriate ammunition with a firearm license; and a Hatsan air rifle in illegal possession. The events were reported to the public prosecutor in the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Plav, who ordered the collection of necessary information from the individuals and further measures. After review, they will determine the legal qualification of any criminal offense.
