Vice President Ivanović with the Secretary General of the Montenegro Youth Network Vladimir Perazić

The Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Dr. Filip Ivanović, met with the Secretary General of the Montenegro Youth Network, Vladimir Perazić, to discuss improving the position of youth, their greater inclusion in the European integration process, strengthening institutional cooperation, and opportunities for developing international partnerships in youth policy. Special attention was given to the initiative to establish an EU dialogue with youth in Montenegro, as a structured mechanism enabling continuous communication between young people and decision-makers, in line with European practices and EU goals. The interlocutors also discussed possibilities for connecting the Montenegro Youth Network with international organizations, foundations, and development partners to implement projects in youth participation, democratic dialogue, capacity development, and international cooperation. Vladimir Perazić, Secretary General of the Montenegro Youth Network, thanked Vice President Ivanović for the reception and openness to dialogue, emphasizing that institutional support is crucial for the development of youth policy and establishing sustainable mechanisms for youth participation. He highlighted that the Network remains committed to strengthening cooperation with government institutions and international partners to enable young people to actively contribute to Montenegro's European future and the development of a society based on democratic values. The meeting expressed mutual readiness to continue cooperation and joint actions on initiatives that will contribute to improving the position of youth, increasing their participation in European integration processes, and achieving Montenegro's strategic interests on its European path.
